In the overview, provide a high-level introduction to the plan itself. This could include what steps will be taken to prepare for or mitigate risks to the mission critical resources. List the departments and people involved in the plan, as well as any deadlines for plan implementation.
Describe the overall approach of this plan - what mitigation steps will be taken, what the general strategy of the plan is.
List all resources, the department and person responsible, the date by which the plan must be implemented, and whether there is ongoing work to be done (such as maintaining hourly off-site backups).
Link all resources listed above to the page describing the plan for that resource in detail.
